Usually, I am not so miserable, ’cause its hard to date at my age. I finally bottomed out, merely hours ago I broke my resolution and smoked two packs of cigarettes. As a coping mechanism of datelessness, duh! Yeah, I did it. Is that even legal? Honestly, it’s when I first considered joining a dating service with Great Expectations.
I already knew the solution. I’ll ease back into dating thru a matchmaking service like Great Expectations Dallas. That turned out to be my golden ticket. The reason I mention my dating woes: We were at my boy’s t-ball game near North Dallas this afternoon, Jim had to know if I have settled down with my one and only. They sure have nerve. I didn’t want to answer, but then laughed, “what’s your deal, yo?”
No surprise that “The Twerp” (my nephew, age 9) chimed in on the topic of marriage. I leveled to each of them: “Dating isn’t for me, but my romantic destiny is right over there!”
Can you believe this? Everyone looked away and giggled. Perturbed, I emailed my astrologist so I could clear my head. But I couldn’t get it out of my head! I would have learned more by asking my son. Billy, who wrote to me from Egypt, offered his opinion that I enroll in Great Expectations. I said, “You know, that’s a good idea.” What a relief. I especially enjoy Great Expectations Denver.
Early on, dating services were kinda foreign from my perspective. I’d never done anything like this before, that I spilled a glass of wine on my blazer. My faux pas could not stop the evening. The night was bursting with excitement. The gems of the occasion had to be the many enjoyable people I met, all available singles.
It’s been a pleasure to party at these splendid Great Expectations Dallas singles events and mixers, I bumped into quite a few winners that must share a parallel understanding while being in this kind of fun, sophisticated company. Can’t imagine why I used to let anyone give their two cents about being single. Amazingly enough, dating right the Great Expectations way is enjoyable and like a dream come true.
