You may relish chilled H2O, but probably your mother has assured you that warm H2O is safer. Isn’t true? How about drinking warm water during and after your move on treadmill?Some individuals advocate cold H2O when one is strenuously exercising due to following reasons:• During physical activity, body temperature grows above the normal 37C. Drinking cool water brings down the body’s temperature to its normal range. Sweating from running, kicking and jumping likewise helps lower the body’s temperature. In fact, studies show that cold H2O is absorbed more rapidly from the stomach than warm water. It has an immediate result of chilling off the body. This makes dehydration less probable, allowing us to play harder and enjoy the sport even more. Source• Second, opposed to what most think, cool foods and beverages do not damage any of our internal organs, so we can feel free to savor them.Another school of thinking, including my mum, thinks that cool water will give a “shock” to our bodies, especially during workout. They believe that warm water should be the alternative. For me, the water should not be so hot that it stings your mouth, or so cold that it is irritating.Personally, I prefer room temperature or slightly cool water when I work out in gymnasium. The favorite H2O temperature is determined by cultural and learned behaviors. If chilliness avails you to drink vast measures of H2O while you are exercising, then keep it cool.By the way, our bodies do not use calories when absorbing cool water. In other words, drinking cold H2O will not make our body to drop off kilogram’s. So, it is a myth around losing weight by drinking cold water.Cool, room temperature or hot water, Next time your standing by the Water Cooler you’ll have to decide, which way do you prefer when you are huffing and puffing?
