Few things have made me feel worse than suffering a bad beat. It’s tough to know that you had the best poker hand and you did all the right things, but through the one part of the game that you don’t control-the cards. I’ve had nights where I’d suffered multiple bad beats and I’ve been frustrated enough to quit the game for a while. I’ve always come back though, and it usually comes after some revelation about the nature of the poker game. One of which is that while players hate bad beats, they also kind of love them.

As bad as it feels when you lose to an opponent who draws out against you, it feels just as good when you draw out against an opponent. You may feel guilty, and you may put on a sheepish face and apologize as you rake in your chips, but inside, you’re freaking high; heart racing, mind blazing as you calculate the extraordinary odds that you’ve overcome as well as how much bigger your chip stack is.

While losing to a bad beat makes you feel cursed, winning with one makes you feel like the chosen one, like you can’t be beaten no matter how you play poker.

It’d be great if we all got pocket Aces or high suited connectors every hand (actually, it’d be great if I got those every hand), but the sad fact is that we’re all more likely to draw a King-2 or a 7-5 unsuited. Fortunately for us, one of the things that make poker online games a great pastime is that we don’t need the best cards to win a given hand. So even though you may not get your first choice of hole cards, don’t throw away your hand in disgust, because you’ve still got a chance of taking the pot. When you get cards that you don’t like, take the time to explore your options. Here are some things to consider:

Are you a blind at your poker online table? If you’re the blind take advantage of your late position (in the first betting round) to see if you can buy up the pot or at least see a cheap flop.

What position are you in? If you’re in an early position, you might want to duck out of the hand, but if you’re in the late position, pay attention for opportunities to buy the pot before the flop.

How’s the poker online table feel? If you’ve got a table full of passive opponents or you’re reading a round of weak hands, you might be able to buy up the pot without seeing a single community card.

It is really not possible to not get caught up in the excitement as it has commenced. Huge screens and televisions are fixed and beer is stocked up, and the match schedule is pasted on walls or put in the diary, to avoid conflict with anything else. Sporting jerseys of their favourite teams, game enthusiasts are geared up. That’s correct people, the football world cup 2010 has started with a bang and all over the world nations are reaching fever pitch.

There’s no means of avoiding this year’s largest competitive event, and we like a good bit of undisruptive loyalty coupled with harmony; getting excited for your homeland is rather superb, particularly if they’re victorious. Demonstrate your support for your country’s team with coloured sky lanterns, accessible in every shade suitable to your team’s playing strip, no matter wherever you are in the world. If you are uncertain about who you will be supporting, no problem- our packs of coloured sky lanterns come in a variety of colours, with something to match you, whichever team you will be rooting for.

So ignite and discharge those lanterns for your players and you just might help them bring home the world cup! Discharge them and look at the attractive exhibition that adorns the sky.

Nothing says the summer like a nice new pair of flip-flops. Folks, it is time to go ahead and put those old kicks in the closet and crack open the free flying flip flop shoes. During the heat you want your feet to be nice and cool and not have to sweat all that much. It can get real bad inside of a shoe if it does not get enough air. If you are married more than likely your wife or husband will say something to you if your feet sweat a lot.

Not all flip-flop shoes are the same. You really want to get ones that have a high arch support because it is so good for your back. If you are getting a non surgical back pain treatment then you will want to make sure and get the most expensive pair on the market. If you are going through all the work to get your back fixed, you might as well have the best support on your feet. You will want to be careful when you wear these because the support is not the same as it is with regular shoes or boots. There is less support and because of this you can actually make your back stronger because the balance factor causes your muscles to improve in strength.

7500 people poker tournament. 45 pay. I finish 46th. I’m never one to play poker safe on the bubble, min cashing is not my goal. In this instance, I paid the ultimate price.

  Blinds = 8000/16000.  I have 250K

I limp with 6s-8d-10d-9s double suited in clubs and diamonds. The small blind calls and the big blind checks.

Flop 2 pair, a gut shot straight draw, and a small flush draw: 10h-8s-As

Sb checks, BB min bets 16k. I raise to 40k. SB calls, BB folds.

Turn is an off suit 7. I turn the small straight. SB checks, I shove for about 170k he calls with a better flush draw (holding three cards to his suit, and I have two of them. He also has KQ for a gut shot. And the jack comes on the river. I bubble.

So, in this spot, the SB continues to play his flush draw and gut shot small by check-calling. He then misses his draws on the turn and checks again. I make him pay the ultimate price, 170k, of which he has me barely covered, and he decides to call off his stack. He has an extra flush card, and combined with my two, it brings his outs down to 6 and 4 jacks for his gut shot. Assuming they are all still in the deck he has 10 outs with one card to come. I am about an 80% favorite, yet I bubble. People just can’t seem to fold draws in Omaha poker.

I’d like to say that I lasted at the poker longer than a couple of minutes. I’d like to say I played all night, in made the best plays and kept rising that I didn’t leave that seat all weekend. But the truth is that the first hand, I got dealt kings. Right there in the hole, on the first hand that I lifted, two red men looking up at me inside.

I was still green to the game and all, but you’d have to be beyond a donkey and just plain idiotic to not know what kings are.

It came to me and I raised. I got reraised. I raised again. We went all in. It was like lightning, like going swimming. There wasn’t much of any choice. I thought for a minute he might have aces, the kind of all hands, but I wasn’t going anywhere like that, and surely not with the several drinks under my belly. Still, even with that, I felt okay being this aggressive playing poker for the first time in a while.

The guy turns over QQ. I show him my pair. Our chips make a large pile in the middle.

The flop is a bunch of little numbers. The turn is something else: a ten or nine, I can’t by now remember. On the river comes a queen. One big red monster to kill my monsters.

Almost before it started, as if I were competing for the world’s record of quick money loss. I don’t even remember anything after that, just the explosion and then blank, K.O., kaput. Should’ve practiced playing poker online.

We all sit around and talk about poker, we play casual games, and we are all members of the same poker online casinos. One of the best gifts that anyone can ever give me is a new set of poker chips. Giving a set of poker chips is one of the best ways to show your online poker playing friends that you care. The best things about giving poker chips as a gift is that you can never really have too many. Even if the object of the gift already has a set, it just means that they end up with more. Your casual poker game than becomes high stakes games and everyone gets more chips. There are also tons of different options of sets out there if you are looking for a set of poker chips to give as a gift. You could go the classic route and get one of those nice sets in a velvet box. Those chip sets are generally appreciated all around. The other option is one of the merchandised sets like the ones sponsored by the World Series of Poker. Your friends will be sure to appreciate your thoughtful poker gift.

Being the small blind is an interesting position. On one hand, you are going to be the first to act, so you’ll be playing at a pretty big disadvantage after the flop. Considering this, you would normally want to play as tightly as possible and play only the best hands from that position. On the other hand, you’ve already committed half of the blinds to the hand, and if you fold, you’ll have given up some chips without seeing if your cards have hit the flop.

Deciding whether or not to just give away your half blind isn’t an easy one. Luckily, poker has a way of nudging you in one direction or another. Since you are already partially committed to the pot, you can face better odds when you take a risk in the small blind position. If four other online poker players have called the big blind and the action comes to you, you can loosen up your play a bit. Between the four bets, the big blind, and your half blind, you stand to win 11 half bets with one half bet. With 11-to-1 odds, you can loosen up your play to small pocket pairs and connectors. If you’re the small blind and several online poker opponents call, it may be worth trying to hit the flop.

As the dreaded money bubble approaches in Texas Hold ‘Em poker online tournaments, most players tend to tighten up their play in hopes of surviving into the money. These people hardly play any hands other than the most premium cards and just fold their way into the money.

However, the bubble turns some poker online players into sharks ready to prey on the fearful who flee any action. The money bubble typically offers myriad opportunities to steal blinds and pots because fear rules the survivor mode players.

Usually there are two types of players who adapt the shark mentality and play aggressively as the bubble approaches. First, there are the short stack players who may not survive more than a few rounds of blinds. These players have to make a move or they will simply be blinded out of the tournament. When they get any decent starting hand, they have to shove and hope for the best. Perhaps they will win only the blinds, but as least they have covered their chip loss for one round.

Then there are the big stacks who know they can push around the survival mode players. It’s not likely their aggressive betting will cost them enough chips to end their tournament life before the bubble. They can exploit the tight players.

You don’t have to necessarily be a big stack though to pursue aggressive poker play, especially if you have mostly survivor types at the table. Even with a mediocre stack, you can be selectively aggressive if the table is tight. In that case, play contrary to the table and be aggressive, especially when there are no big stacks betting behind you.

A major event within the Euromillions Euro lottery is the Loteria de Elgordo – and you would do well to know more about this part. With payouts that can be as high as more than two and a half billion Euros, the lottery offers one of the world’s richest jackpots. This is not the lottery’s only claim to fame. With more than thirteen thousand prizes being offered your chances of winning a prize mean that there’s one winner in every six tickets. These are really astonishing odds when compared with the majority of other branded lotteries.

Should you want to enter you can buy a full ticket called a “serie”. You can also choose a more affordable option called a “d©cimo”, valued at one tenth of a full ticket. Neither alternative is especially cheap, though, and of course neither has better odds of being a winner. This is the reason that the e-lottery system is popular with many Euromillions Euro lottery players.

With the Euromillions Euro lotto, there is one draw per month. Three months each year see special lotteries promising significantly more substantive prizes. The 3 bigger lotteries are scheduled to take place in January, summer, and at Christmas: these are, respectively, El Nio, San Ildefonso & El Gordo.

Balls with numbers in a range between 00,000 and 84,999 are not part of a standard lottery system, but this draw employs a unique system taking full advantage of them. One ball will be drawn from each of two bowls; the first bowl indicates the winner, the second what the ticket is worth.

This system guarantees a prize for everyone who takes part. You will automatically be assigned a team when you buy in to the El Gordo Lottery syndicate. Each team is assigned a number from zero to nine when the draw is made, the final digit of the winning number determines which team receives the money. The money is then divided among the team members. Following that, subscriptions are offered for the syndicate ready for the next drawing.
